In this retrospective research, a number of 34 consecutive closed and displaced intra-articular calcaneal cracks concerning the articular area were treated by this technology between Summer 2016 and April 2018. X-ray and computed tomography (CT) scans were done before and after surgery to measure Bohler’s angle; the length, height, and width of the calcaneus; and also the technical axis associated with hindfoot. Postoperative complications had been taped. Imaging and clinical results were comprehensively assessed using the American Orthopaedic leg and Ankle community (AOFAS) hindfoot-anklcaneal shape plus the sub-talar articular area. This easy surgical modality with limited problems could be useful in the medical procedures of many kind II and III calcaneal cracks except comminuted fractures associated with the calcaneal tuberosity.For intra-articular calcaneal fractures, minimally invasive surgery assisted with short-term LRS additional fixation can reconstruct the calcaneal form and also the sub-talar articular area.
